Remembering our Louise.
Beloved Ad Giants Executive Producer Louise Messina, a legend in the world of commercial music production, passed away suddenly Thursday morning of an apparent heart attack. She died while doing what she loved most. She was working, her laptop open and the phone by her side. An indomitable, talented, dramatic, amusing and always engaging force of nature, Louise was an inspiration to artists, composers, voice talents, ad agency people and anyone lucky enough to be called her friend. The results of her work in helping us build the next level of Ad Giants products and services will remind us daily of her commitment, initiative and determination.
As Bob Cox, Ad Giants marketing director, wrote in an email to us all:
She was an enthusiastic advocate of what we are doing, she was confident that we would be wildly successful, and she worked every single day to help make that happen. We owe it to Louise to prove her right. She will always be an Ad Giant.
It’s never easy when a co-worker passes on, but it’s especially emotional and shocking when that co-worker is an old friend and the organization is tight-knit. She undersood and respected as well as anyone I’ve ever met the importance and power of music in creating a mood and emotional context. Louise had a perfect mix of talents, a flawless ear, a pure, clear and pitch-perfect voice, and a straight-forward way of interacting that left no room for doubt but plenty of room for creativity and inspiration. In this industry, I don’t know how one could do better.

I love Louise..she was my father’s sister and I called her Aunt Lou. I wish I had seen her more…but we did keep in touch. I was planning on seeing her again one day. She was one of the most funny, talented, beautiful and kind person I knew. She was social and always wanted her loved ones near her. Not many people go out of their way to keep family and friends together. I will always admire that about her. I will miss her so much. The world is a lesser place without her in it. I love you always Aunt Lou. Love you forever, Linda
