Audio Ads from the search leader.
The other day I drifted by Google’s demo of Google Audio Ads, and I have to say, I was confused. If I were trying to convince an audience to commit to audio advertising using my services, I would make an effort to have the audio in my presentation sound good. For instance, I might invest in a pop filter, which Google can probably afford. (If not, they could always make one.)
There must be a reason. After all, getting decent audio is easier than ever with afforable mics and easy-to-use interfaces. Maybe low quality audio is some kind of reassuring standard for demos and tutorials in the net environment, but Google Audio Ads, as I understand them, are about audio. Personally I would have aimed a tad higher for that reason.
That’s just the demo, I realize, but still, the demo leaves an impression with the viewer/listener.
What about the actual ads? Here are some samples.
